The summer villa is located on the eastern side of Sifnos island, enjoying unobstructed views of the sea. Originally designed as two separate holiday homes, it was reimagined as a single, unified residence, retaining the existing structural framework.

Outdoor spaces were a key design focus, forming the heart of daily life. The volumes are surrounded by a series of courtyards and shaded areas that offer diverse spatial experiences and together define the house’s exterior environment. A large outdoor living and dining area with an open-air kitchen forms a central gathering zone, while smaller patios are mainly connected to the bedrooms. A linear pool, oriented toward the sea, completes the setting.

The architectural volumes are defined by Cycladic simplicity and the cubic geometry characteristic of Aegean tradition. Driven by clarity and function, the composition shapes a contemporary home within a natural context. Tall, narrow openings frame sea views and allow for a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The principles of simplicity and harmony carry into the interior, where the color palette, the materials and furnishings create a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The residence is further integrated into its setting through the choice of materials: white plaster walls combine with natural stone in the landscape, while wooden pergolas add texture and shade, reinforcing the building’s Cycladic identity.
